5 Cosas que no sabías del Día de Muertos
El Día de muertos es un día especial e importante para todos nosotros en México nuestra tradición dice que, los muertos visitan el 2 de noviembre a los vivos y esto es motivo de celebración y fiesta. La celebración comienza realmente desde el primero de noviembre cuando se reciben las almas de los niños y niñas fallecidos en las familias.
Para recibir a los fallecidos se preparan los altares de muertos que deben tener ofrendas: objetos, comida, bebida o música preferida de la persona a quien se dedica dicho altar, así como su foto. Ahora ¿realmente conoces TODO sobre este día? Veamos qué tanto sabes con estas 5 curiosidades:
1 – Cada altar debe representar a los cuatro elementos por medio del Agua, colocado en una jícara u vasija de barro, la Tierra, se representa con los diversos frutos obtenidos de está, el Fuego con las velas y Viento que se representa a través del papel picado siempre representando distintas figuras.
2 – Este día tiene un carácter ancestral pues es de las celebraciones más antiguas del país se sabe de su celebración desde antes de la llegada de los españoles entre las etnias Mexica, Maya, Purépecha y totonaca.
3 – Sabías que los Aztecas dedicaban su celebración a Mictecacihuatl, en náhuatl “Señora de la muerte”, en la mitología azteca reina de Mictlán, el noveno y último nivel del inframundo.
4 – La representación más conocida de la muerte es la Catrina, creada por el grabador José Guadalupe Posada y bautizada por el pintor Diego Rivera.
5 – En Francia la UNESCO dio el titulo de Patrimonio de la Humanidad al Día de Muertos, el 7 de noviembre de 2003.
